Inuit Qaujisarvingat: The Inuit Knowledge Centre

National Inuit Leader Mary Simon, president of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, formally announced the creation of Inuit Qaujisarvingat: The Inuit Knowledge Centre in Ottawa in early January.

Inuit Qaujisarvingat is a centre for the advancement of Arctic research that will help to bridge the gap between western science and Inuit knowledge and build capacity among Inuit to respond to growing interest in Arctic issues.
